Upgrading your storefront using the new store editor

Introducing the *new* store upgrade along with Teespring’s improved sleek store editor–in this article we will show you updated functionalities and how to get started. Create the best lasting impression when your fans land on your storefront. A flawless, eye catching Teespring store will enhance your merch designs. Brand consistency is key– introducing the ability to make your storefront personal to you and recognizable for your followers is important to us. 

Once you’re invited to set up your new store within your dashboard, you’ll be able to preview how it looks by selecting “preview new store” before opting in. Some parts may look incomplete, but you’ll have the chance to fully customize your stores after upgrading. 

Personalize your store

With the innovative new store editor, you’re now able to edit the appearance and update the branding easier than ever before. Upload images for your banner, logo, text and button colors. Check out how your store looks on both desktop and mobile view by changing between devices on the right hand side of the editor.

The Hero section allows you to upload a background image for the top of your storefront. Your hero file dimensions should measure 1650 x 600px. Type out your title, subtitle, and body description and apply colors to each element. Change up the navigation bar by choosing a color for the background and menu item titles, as well as upload a logo to appear in the top left of your store.

Delete and star products from your storefront Product section of the store editor by using the cross and star icons next to each product in the left hand tab. 

Create pathways to your social platforms 

We know how important social media is for sharing content and engaging with your community. For this reason, the new store editor experience allows you to insert your social media platforms either to your navigation bar, or within the footer of your storefront.

In the stores section of your dashboard, add your social media profile URL for each platform. Make your icons appear by going to the “theme editor.” Go into the Navigation bar section of the editor to apply your icons to the top of your storefront by switching on “display links.” Also make your icons discoverable at the bottom of your store by following the same steps in the Footer section of the editor. 

Free myteespring.co domain and fully branded buyer experience

You’re now able to set up your free myteespring.co sub-domain and enjoy having your own unique identity separate from other Teespring users. With the new store editor, you have the option to create a single storefront. The new store editor is geared towards creators being able to sell all of their designs within a single, custom designed storefront URL, instead of dividing products into several by niche. With the ability to edit your new store comes an entirely branded experience for your fans from checkout–to receiving branded emails upon purchase.
